I am grieving for my dad and for friends which have passed recently. Being with people and grieving at the same time is impossible for me. It is so strange to grieve because it's so difficult to process it, alone or with others. Mary Kate's The Bridge Called Grief is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read and absorbed. Her words are full of wisdom and ease, and her photographs convey the essence of those words. Mary Kate guides her reader through the process of assimilating the changes experienced after loss. This book is a gem and I could not recommend it more highly!

Ms. Jordan has created the most wonderful tool for navigating grief. The photography and text is so inspiring and comforting. I have read the book cover to cover and also used it as a daily devotional by randomly picking a page for that day. I recommend this book to anyone, not only those going through trying times around death and dying, but for all of us. I have purchased an extra copy as a gift for a friend who lost her mom and she indicated to me that it was very helpful. What a gift this book is for us all.
