Another post emp , fine series. A depiction of real world possibilities. No zombies, you can watch TWD, for that fantasy fiction. Cassie's travels and trials will keep you entertained. If not already so, add J.J. Holden too your favorite author's list.
I enjoyed the book easy read, nice story line and not trashy with detailed sex scenes that do not belong in a EMP story line at least not as graphic as some books. Buy the book and read the series the characters are believable and so is the story line.
I just can't understand why some people didn't like this book. I guess it is just personal taste. Lovefd it.
I like the genre and the first book of this series was better.. but just too much childishness on the part of the "leaders" of this group. I stopped reading half way thru.
I read this genre so I know what I like in an author. This is the best story teller EVER! With some writers there is no story. Not so here. All the characters flow from book one to three leaving you anxious to get to the next. You don't have to read 1or 2 to enjoy 3 but if you like a good, long, emp book, you'll read all 3
Another great story of a world we could face if we don't educate ourselves and vote wisely. Wonderful characters living in a very scary world. Really want to live at The Clan farm. Permaculture is an amazing method of farming.
This is a great read. Vol. 1 was bit slow to start, but picked up about half way through and the momentum continued through Vol. 3. I only had to put down twice due to suspense. (I'll admit, I'm a woos). This story line and the quality of development regarding characters and story line was realistic and well thought out. I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys reading about "a what if" end of the world as we know it. No Zombies
